SpongeBobs’ 25th Anniversary

As Art Director, I oversaw the social design team's campaign for the 25th anniversary of SpongeBob SquarePants. We integrated in-house creative efforts with external partnerships, including collaborations with vendors and social media platforms. My role involved guiding the development of engaging visuals and interactive elements that celebrated the milestone. This comprehensive approach ensured a cohesive and impactful campaign across all channels, driving fan engagement and amplifying the anniversary celebration.

Tiktok Spotlight

I collaborated with the TikTok team to utilize their new Tiktok spotlight feature, creating a dedicated hub to celebrate SpongeBob SquarePants' 25th anniversary. Over the course of the three-week campaign, our Spotlight featured engaging content that garnered over 1.8 billion views and achieved more than 200,000 click-through rates to Paramount+. This successful integration not only amplified SpongeBob's anniversary celebration but also drove significant traffic to Paramount+, enhancing overall campaign impact.

Discord

For SpongeBob SquarePants' 25th anniversary, we partnered with Discord to create exclusive profile and avatar decorations for fans to purchase as part of the celebration campaign. This collaboration allowed us to offer unique, themed digital assets that fans could use to personalize their Discord profiles, enhancing their connection to the anniversary celebration. This initiative not only engaged the SpongeBob community in a meaningful way but also expanded the campaign's reach across Discord's platform.

A year of celebration

The team and I are developing a year-long social media campaign to celebrate SpongeBob SquarePants, featuring a range of engaging content. From a special birthday cake to mark his anniversary to customized evergreen content, we’re crafting a diverse array of posts and visuals to keep the celebration vibrant throughout the year.
